Siphiwe Tshabalala missed Kaizer Chief’s match against Golden Arrows this past weekend due to an injury he got in the fixture against Supersport United.
Shabba says that though Amakhosi drew their match against Arrows, the lads did well.
“The lads did well overall. We are just out of luck lately and it has not been going our way. That though is the way football is,” said the midfielder who had just reached 300 games for the Soweto outfit.
A goal from Ryan Moon who was given a rare chance to play was what gave Chiefs the lead but in the last minute of additional time Arrows struck back to draw against Steve Komphela’s men.
“The goal from the young man was marvelous. I am happy he got on the score sheet and that will give him confidence to keep his head up and push on.”
Amakhosi may have thrown away their chance of having a go at the title with just a few more games left to play.
