Shabba: So far so good

After a few weeks of returning training Siphiwe Tshabalala has confirmed that the team is looking good and ready to embark on the road to gaining fitness ahead of yet another season.

Amakhosi were reported to be intensifying their training session starting from Monday after having relaxed sessions last week.

“It is looking good. We are enjoying training and are working hard to get fit. It is only a matter of time until we have to get back to playing serious matches. With the pre-season matches also drawing near we have to make sure that we up our fitness levels to avoid injuries,” Shabba said.

Chiefs will be partaking in the King’s Super Cup in Swaziland in July before preparing to play the Carling Black Label on August 01. Tshabalala says exciting times are near for both the teams and the supporters.

“We have been in a break for a while now and I think that our supporters are ready to get back to the excitement of cup and league competitions. Exciting times are coming and whilst the supporters enjoy from the sides we will be doing our best to give them bragging rights on the field,” concluded the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder.
