Chiefs lose and Steve brushes lose off
Kaizer Chiefs have spent a month without a win as they registered yet another loss on Wednesday evening against Chippa United.
Amakhosi are having a major set-back as they have not won a match since they ironically beat Chippa United in the Telkom Knockout in November. From that win they went on to lose against Bidvest Wits in the domestic competition and registered two draws before losing in the Absa Premiership to date.
This has seen Chiefs drop to seventh in the log. Head coach Steve Komphela seems not to be frustrated by the recent form though as he discussed the match in his interview.
“I think in the first half, we committed an error right at the beginning and that was the defining moment. With respect — they did well, Chippa, but I thought in the second half, there was only one team on the park.
I think the number of chances we created was more than they did, but all we need to do is hit the back of the net,” said Komphela.
The train does not stop though as they have to go back to the drawing board and prepare for their next clash against Platinum Stars on Saturday.
