Shabba: Back on track
Kaizer Chiefs seem to have turned the corner in the Absa Premiership race as they proved too strong for Ajax Cape Town in a battle they won by two goals to none.
Chiefs skipper Siphiwe Tshabalala acknowledges the improved attitude and results of the glamour boys but adds that it is only the build up to what can be better performances.
“It is great to be back on the winning end of the business. We have been training hard and trying to improve on our performance and grinding results. This though is not the best that we can give, it can get better and that is what we aim to do”, said Shabba.
Amakhosi maintain their pole position on the log with 13 points from 6 games played. The Chiefs faithful will hope that the team continues their winning run having finished the previous season without silverware.
The Glamour Boys next face Maritzburg United in the Telkom Knockout on Wednesday 19 October 2016 before they can try to continue collecting points in the league with a fixture against Orlando Pirates on October 29.
