Siphiwe Tshabalala who is a professional player took his time out of the field to do his duty as a role model and overall an idol in the community of South Africa. Tshabalala’s Foundation named the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation visited the Kaizer Chiefs captain’s primary school in Soweto to put smiles on the learner’s faces. Shabba and his foundation donated over 300 pairs of school shoes to Enkanyezini Higher Primary School. The Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation in association with Zungu Investement Company joined hands in order to make the donation possible or the children of Enkanyezini. The Gauteng MEC was also present to grace the good deed by the Shabba Foundation. The Chiefs skipper was happy to see the learners get their shoes and says it is only fair that as citizens we give back to the community, especially the youth. “It is our duty as adults, professionals, role models and even as citizens of South Africa to look to give back to the community, most importantly the youth. We have to make sure that our kids are getting the best opportunities in life. The donation of these shoes is a small gesture but to many it means a lot. The kids will now have shoes to wear when they come to school and look forward to learning. These are fundamental things we need to allow our children to have. There is lots we can do and I will keep doing what I can to help those that are in need,” said Shabba about the event.
