Shabba: We will persist until we get it right
Kaizer Chiefs captain Siphiwe Tshabalala says the team will persist until they get the positive results they are looking for.
“Football is unpredictable and that is what makes it ever interesting. One moment things are going your way and the next you are working to rectify mistakes. We are doing our best to get positive results and I believe that with time all will fall into place,” Shabba says.
Chiefs got back to their winning ways when they demolished Golden Arrows 3-1 at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday evening. The results give the boys from Naturena breathing room as they redeemed themselves from losing in the Soweto derby.
“We have our heads held up and are staying positive. It is important to win the battle in your mind before you get to the field. The team is confident and working hard to prepare ourselves for the next match which is the Telkom Knockout,” concluded the skipper.
