Shabba: The victories will come
Siphiwe Tshabalala who is the Kaizer Chiefs captain has agreed that the goalless draw against Chippa United during the weekend was a non-satisfactory result for the team.
Chiefs and United failed to find the back of the net in all 90 minutes of the game, sharing the spoils at the end of the day. Shabba says as defending Champions they could have done better but it was not to be.
“Look at the end of the day we only walked away with a point. As much as it is better than a loss we still feel we could have done better. It comes with football, sometimes it doesn’t play out the way you want it to,” Shabba said.
With the Absa Premiership having kicked off Shabba believes that the team will grow in confidence and the results will come.
“The positive results will come. We will grow confident game by game. The team will gain confidence in good time and the glory days will again come to be,” concluded the skipper.
