Siphiwe Tshabalala says that the match against Mamelodi Sundowns will be a test of character for the team.

“We are looking forward to the match. I think that although we have crossed the line there is still a lot to play for. This will be a test of character for the team and an opportunity for us to show that we are at the top of the table for a reason.”

Chiefs have an opportunity to expand the gap between them and second placed Sundowns by 18 points should they win this evening.

Amakhosi coach Stuart Baxter has also stressed the need for his team to perform well in order to be deemed champions indeed.

“To go there and know that we have already won it, it’s great. But it will be very disappointing if we go there and we don’t win. It is nice to have it and when we go there, we have to do a professional job and make sure we play like champions,” Baxter told Kick-off.com.
