Chiefs bow out with Pride
Kaizer Chiefs suffered a blow when they were eliminated from the CAF Champions League after their 2-0 loss (3-0 on aggregate) to Raja Casablanca.
Amakhosi bow out of a second competition following their exit in the Nedbank Cup a few weeks back. Regardless of their loss, Coach Stuart Baxter seems to be delighted with the efforts of the team saying they will continue playing attacking football.
“Most games are decided in transition and this game was a typical example. However, I will continue to have my players play like this, to always play positive and go forward to try creating a goal.
“We failed to profit from the chances that came our way. We should have taken those and be more clinical. However, overall, I am proud of my team’s performance,” Baxter said on the team’s official website.
