Shabba and Bokang Foundations ignite dreams
The Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation partnered with the Bokang Montjane Foundation to host the Dare to Dream school campaign at the Thuto Pele Secondary School.
Together the foundations were aiming to provide the learners at the Thuto Pele school with Technical and vocational training specifically geared towards gaining employment and building careers in sport.
The Kaizer Chiefs star and former Miss SA graced the event with their presence as the campaign took place. Shabba shared his delight of being able to give back in a way that helps the youth gain knowledge.
“The event was a great initiative and I am always happy to be able to give back to the youth. We are empowering them and allowing them the opportunity to dream big. These kids will realize that there are plenty of opportunities out there,” Shabba said.
Bokang Montjane founder of the foundation shared the same sentiment about the event as Tshabalala. She said: “It was a great and successful campaign in which education and skills training were passed on to learners. They were so excited and keen on learning. I think such initiatives are necessary to spark the dreams of these young ladies and gentlemen. It was an opportunity for them to learn and we are always happy to be the ones sharing the knowledge.”
