Belief will carry us far
What a game we played against AmaZulu on Wednesday night. It was a tough fixture as expected but team effort and a never giving up attitude earned us a victory and three points.
It was very intense and boy was I relieved when we scored the winning goal in the dying moments of the game. It was literally the last kick of the game and when my buddy Reneilwe Letsolonyane was brought down some 30 yards from the goals, I knew that I had to deliver a good free-kick.
I tried my best to curl it with power while keeping it on target. The rest was fate playing its role as it hit the post and fell openly for the sharp George Lebese who put it away for the win. So like I said, we did our best on the night and believed that we would come back after going a goal down and the best results came our way.
This takes us to 28 points in ten games. We only dropped two points in the draw against Swallows. It is an impressive record and I hope that we can keep it up.
This will help motivate the players as our next challenge is a huge one. On November 22 we take on defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns. It will be a home game for us and we do believe that we can get positive results in that fixture.
What we have achieved so far is good and impressive, but now we have to move on. Hard work and dedication, belief and faith will carry us far. #ForeverFearless we are!!
