Shabba up for Stars TKO challenge
Siphiwe Tshabalala says their Telkom Knockout draw has dealt them a familiar yet tough challenge in the form of Platinum Stars.
Kaizer Chiefs have now beaten Dikwena three times, defeating the North West based side in the PSL and in the first and second leg of the MTN 8 competition. Shabba acknowledges the fact that they have created a good current record against Allan Freese troops but warns that it only makes it tougher to outsmart them.
“The draw against Platinum Stars will not be a walk in the park. We have already played them three times and beat them in all those matches. This makes it even more difficult because they will want revenge,” Shabba said.
The Kaizer Chiefs winger however insists that their clash with Stars will encourage the players to yearn to achieve more positive results.
He added: “This poses a good challenge for us as a team and I think it will help us improve. We will yearn to do even better and beat them again. In that process it will encourage us as players to grind more positive results.”
