Ajax Cape Town star and Absa Premiership Young Player of the 2013/2014 season Keagan Dolly believes he has the attributes to do justice to the ‘Shabba’ free role.

Kaizer Chiefs playmaker Siphiwe Tshabalala’s versatility means he is often deployed as a winger or in a roving role in the number 10 position.

Dolly, who is reportedly on the shopping lists of Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, is confident of thriving in similar roles.

“I can play either on the wing or as an attacking midfielder behind the striker. I feel comfortable playing both roles. I could play in ‘Shabba’s type of free role. I think the number 10 role suits me best. I run a lot and enjoy having the ball at my feet,” Dolly told Laduma.

While flattered by reports linking him with the big PSL clubs, Dolly insists he is happy to stay on at Ajax, where he still has a year to run on his contract.
