Shabba helping kids live their dreams
Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana star Siphiwe Tshabalala put smiles on the faces of young kids suffering from cancer when he spent some time with some of his younger fans at Naturena on Thursday.
Tshabalala made himself available to help make the dreams of the young children come to life. He says that meeting the kids helps them realise that dreams do come true and for him it feels like a God-given duty.
“I am always open to helping these kids realise their dreams. Being a public figure shines a light unto others and you become an example of hope. I am humbled to know that to some of the kids it is a dream to meet me,” said Shabba.
“So for that I always avail myself to meet the young ones to restore hope and instil a positive mind-set to them. I am living my dream by being a football player and so I want them to live theirs knowing that they have met their role model. I am a child of the Almighty and I see it as my duty to give back to the future of this country.”
