Baroka hold Amakhosi to a draw

It was a stalemate at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday as Kaizer Chiefs took on Baroka FC in an Absa Premiership match.

Amakhosi came off the block running and hit the back of the nest as early as the 6th minute with a goal by Eric Mathoho. But Baroka responded three minutes later with a goal of their own by Victor Letsoalo.

In additional time before the close of the first half, striker Bernard Parker put Chiefs on the lead through a penalty after Siphiwe Tshabalala was fouled in the 18 area. Second half substitute Mxolisi Kunene fired past Itumeleng Khune a composed finish after beating 5 defenders to make it 2-2.

Chiefs remain fourth on the log after 21 matches and have now collected a total of 36 points. They will next face Mamelodi Sundowns on April 1.
