Shabba: Looking good for Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs made it to the next round of the Nedbank Cup after defeating Stellenbosch 3-0 in their last round of 32 on Saturday.

Senior player Siphiwe Tshabalala says the team is looking better game by game as they look to march on in victory in both domestic cups and the Absa Premiership.

“It was a great performance by the team. We played well and we seem to be getting better each game. This is because of the hard work and dedication of all the players. We are through to the next round and hope that we can do the same with our next match,”Shabba said.

The teams will now wait for the draw to see which teams they will play against. Shabba does not have his eye on any specific team and eagerly awaits the draw results.

“It does not matter which team is drawn against us because we will have to play against them anyway. So we do not have a specific team that we would like to get in the draw. We will eagerly wait for the draw so that we can go ahead and prepare for that match as we do with every match we have to play.”
