The TKO challenge continues

It has been a good start to the Telkom Knockout challenge and a victory in our first game has propelled us to quarter finals.

I think it comes at a time that I have made considerable progress regarding my fitness level. I took the man of the match award in the fixture we played against Ajax Cape Town. Recently we drew our first match of the current season against Moroka Swallows.

This has not dented our spirit as a team and our heads are not down. The focus has shifted from the league to the TKO. This is another challenge for us. We have played and beaten Platinum Stars twice in the MTN 8 cup and in a PSL league match.

They will not make it easy for us as they also want to progress in the competition. There will also be a mission to revenge the losses the suffered. So this means it will be a very tough and tactical match.

Every match is different and that is what we have running on our minds and therefore we have to prepare accordingly. The team will be without the injured Itumeleng Khune and Katlego Mphela. George Maluleka is also still sidelined due to a muscle strain he suffered against Ajax.

The good news is that Bernard Parker will be available and Kingston Nkatha should also be available after suffering from a tummy bug before our game in Cape Town.

The match is scheduled for a 15:00 kick-off on Sunday 26 October at the FNB Stadium. Remember that you can get your tickets at Computicket and come support the boys when we make you proud. Forever fearless we are!!
