Shabba hoping to remain injury free

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala is hopeful he can steer clear of injuries for the rest of the season.

Tshabalala, who has missed a few matches this campaign, reasserted his value by scoring in his milestone 200th match for Amakhosi in their recent 2-0 win over his former side Free State Stars.

Absa Premiership: Kaizer Chiefs v Maritzburg United“I know for a fact that injuries are part of the game and something that I can’t control.” says Shabba. “I just have to be strong and pray to remain injury free for as long as it takes.”

“But I’m glad that although I’ve missed a few games, my injuries have not been career-threatening ones, but rather light injuries and knocks.”

Chiefs will next take on Arrows on Wednesday the 18th of December at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
